I have a 1290 super adventure R now and it is obviously much faster than the Yamaha. I find the seat much much more comfortable on the KTM also. The KTM actually does not pull as hard as the reflashed Tenere did until about 5000 RPM- the low end on the yamaha was great, but above 5000 rpm its just worlds faster than the yamaha from there on up It seems, by the You tube videos anyway, the 1190R may be the best of them. Of course this is purely based on the reviews of those who love them. For comparison some say the 7.3 Powerstroke engine was the absolute best motor to ever come from Ford.
